Welcome to the Department of Microbiology and Immunology! I am delighted to welcome you all on your exciting academic journey into the study of Microbiology. Our department is dedicated to providing you with fundamental knowledge in Cellular Biology, General Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Public Health, Immunology, Medical Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Parasitology—fields that will equip you for excellence in a variety of disciplines.

In addition, the department offers advanced postgraduate programs (Master's and PhD), where candidates take specialized courses in Medical Microbiology, Diagnostic Microbiology, Virology, Biotechnology, Antimicrobial Resistance, and more. They also engage in scientific research practices, contributing to existing literature.

Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and expertise needed to understand the world of Microbes, their roles, and their impact on Health and Biotechnology applications.
