Helwan University organized an introductory seminar for website administrators at its colleges and sectors on the Mawadda Project, explaining how to register for and obtain a certificate upon completing its online training course. This initiative was held under the patronage of Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, and within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The seminar follows the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities to approve the launch of the Mawadda digital distance learning platform, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, for experimental use on university websites, making its scientific content available to enrolled students.

Dr. Mamdouh Al-Masry, a representative of the Mawadda Project from the Ministry of Social Solidarity, led the seminar.

This training program aims to prepare young Egyptians of both genders who are about to get married and equip them with the necessary skills for a successful marital life.

Dr. Hanan Kamal, the Mawadda Project Coordinator at Helwan University, highlighted that Helwan University was among the first institutions to offer Mawadda courses regularly since 2018. The courses have received significant student engagement through the Career Development Center, with over 50,000 students participating in in-person training sessions. Helwan University is also a pioneer in encouraging its students to complete the training through the online platform, with hundreds of students having successfully obtained the certificate online.
